Vaccinations........just musing and wondering?

Astra has Flu and Tetnus every two years. Was talking to an American mate who vaccinates her horses herself.........

This passport thing aside.......does anyone know if it's illegal to vaccinate your own horse? In the UK I mean.........

think i will ask my vet about this, as found out recently you can give your own dogs vacs just as long as they belong to you

flu and tetanus has to be done by a vet... or someone with a certificate allowing them to stamp the passport. At college the owner of the yard had this certificate which means the yard manager can vaccinate all our horses herself. Hope that answers your question xx
