NEWS FLASH!

Astra is in a very good mood today - well she has been a lot better this winter all round.

Gave her a good brush and there was no silly squealy noises erupting from the ticklish bits.......face pulling is norm but, very amenable for her.

Was almost tempted to chuck the saddle on and ride her......but, alas......the reins on my bridle have finally given up the ghost - note to self: must go shopping.

She did give me "evils" when I put her rug back on though, and the old back legs were a bit defiant in a half-hearted way.

I would of kept her rug off for the day - seeing as the paddocks are dry at the moment - but, I can't get back down there again today to put it back on and it's a bit chilly to say the least during the night.

No sign of shedding, so winter isn't over yet......she a good weather forecaster.

I think she's been abducted mate and replaced by an alien species..........

She followed me around the yard this morning......doing those little whickering sounds.........

Nose into everything and supervising the water bucket filling........

I even walked round the back of her and laid my hand on her bum and she didn't flinch..........I'm so brave LOL

Note to self: Must not get complacent and end up in A&E again

gees it sounds like astra has finaly gone on a out of space jaunt and has left a solid ghost of her behind so that you will not know she has gone.
could be that she has headed down under to catch some sunrays to help keep the body warm, and get back to her old self.
we will keep a look out just in case she drops in,any idea's on what kind of titibits does astra enjoy.
and will remember to aviod the rear end.............alan
