over the last couple of weekends have been up at ronnies and have been doing some work on her drains.
on the first weekend i had to put in the electric fence to keep the cattle out of the drains as they just walk through it and destroy it.
we had to get this drain open before the winter gets here as they get a lot of water pass through the place.
when the get a real heavy down pour up in the hills it all comes down their stream and this part of the flats gets flooded.
the flat eara used to be the old river bed a long time ago, as the course of the river was changed to get more grazing area.......alan
