N I am here too, just don't seem to get to write as much as I would like to.
In the lead up to Christmas I have been working till 6 to 6.30pm and when I get home the D man has cooked dinner
(it is such a treat and he is a great cook and has a selection of aprons to prove it hehe). I also volunteer for the local ambulance, which thankfully has been lovely and quiet.
Christmas day was nice a relaxing, Just mum, D and me, then just as we were about to sit down a load of friends arrived to stay for a couple of nights. John boarded with us for a couple of months before he went home to China. He is back in Auckland doing an electrical engineering course, he brought five of his friends. Was unexpected but good to see them. Now I have got lots of housework to do
I often wish I was like Samantha in Bewitched, just wriggle my nose and the work would all be done - then I wake up to the real world.
Been taking photos of flowers recently. We have had some late flowering freesias and have enjoyed taking lots of experiments using them, alas D has now run the flowers over with the lawn mower so will have to wait until next year to carry on. Now it is day lilys and roses, the gladiolis are just unfurling their buds - must have known that I wanted more flowers.
