This was on the news tonight, was in Auckland. Is so sad and unnecessary, the owner if very sick with cancer and lucky for the four remaining horses has signed them over to the SPCA.
The photo showing a foal is standing by its mum who had to be put down because she was so malnourished and sick. I don't know if they had to put the foal down or not, I had tears in my eyes as I watched what I could, I had to close my eyes.
There is also the newscast you can watch if you want but if you are faint hearted please don't.
